Tofu dogs, soy burgers, nut loaves, and texturized vegtables protein are all great alternatives to eating meat and they can all be found at your local grocery stores. Another benefit of eating these rather then meat is that there low in fat and have less calories. You might also want to note that products like tofu and tempeh are made from soybeans. When cutting out meat from your diet it is important that you maintain proper nutrition. The four fundamentals are protein, calcium, vitamin b-12, iron, and zinc. Protein ensures healthy skin, bones, muscles, and organs. Calcium provides you with healthy teeth. Vitamin b-12 as well as iron provide your body with red blood cells. And lastly zinc is a vital part of enzymes and helps with your bodies cell division.
